Growmatik is now ConvesioConvert. If you arrived here looking for Growmatik, the product still exists but it has been rebranded and moved: growmatik.ai now issues a permanent redirect to convesio.com/convert/, and the plugin is no longer listed in the WordPress.org repository.
This review has been rewritten around the product as it exists today. The short version: the core idea is unchanged — omni-channel marketing automation for WordPress and WooCommerce built on emails, popups and on-site personalisation — but it is now positioned as part of Convesio's commerce platform, and the pricing is substantially higher than the Growmatik tiers many readers will remember.
What happened to Growmatik?
Growmatik has been folded into Convesio, a managed WordPress and WooCommerce hosting company, and renamed ConvesioConvert. The practical consequences for anyone evaluating it:
- The domain redirects.
growmatik.aireturns a 301 toconvesio.com/convert/. Old bookmarks, documentation links and the pricing calculator URL no longer resolve to their original pages. - It is not on WordPress.org. There is no
growmatikplugin in the WordPress.org directory any more, so you cannot install it from Plugins → Add New and you will not get updates through the directory. ConvesioConvert lists a WordPress plugin as a feature of every plan, distributed by the vendor rather than the repository. - It is a SaaS platform, not a self-hosted plugin. This was already true of Growmatik — the plugin was a connector to a cloud dashboard — but it is worth restating, because it means your automation data and email sending live on the vendor's platform.
- Pricing changed materially. The old Growmatik entry tier was $12/month; ConvesioConvert starts at $49/month. See the pricing section below.

If you are a current Growmatik customer, the migration and billing specifics are a question for Convesio directly. We have not verified what happens to legacy Growmatik subscriptions, and we are not going to guess.
What is ConvesioConvert?
ConvesioConvert is an omni-channel marketing automation and personalisation platform aimed at WooCommerce and WordPress sites. In the vendor's own description, it collects, unifies and enriches product, customer and marketing data, then uses that data to target campaigns at specific audience segments across several channels from one dashboard.
It still works across the same three touchpoints Growmatik was built around:
- Email — broadcast, newsletter and transactional email, plus automated sequences
- Popups and forms — including exit-intent popups and dynamic coupons
- Website personalisation — conditional page content and personalised product or blog listings for a given visitor
The unifying concept is that all three are driven by the same segmentation and behavioural data, so a visitor's on-site activity can trigger an email, and their email behaviour can change what they see on the site.
Features
Automation workflows
There is a point-and-click visual workflow builder for building sequences from scratch, plus a library of pre-built automation "recipes" for common scenarios so you are not starting from a blank canvas. A single sequence can combine emails, popups and personalised pages rather than being limited to one channel.
The number of automations you can run concurrently is the main thing gated by plan: 20 on Starter, 50 on Growth, unlimited on Pro and Elite.
Segmentation and customer data
Targeting options include geolocation, traffic source and UTM parameters, website activity and email behaviour, alongside custom segments and custom attributes. Contact records carry profiles, tags and an automation log.
RFM segmentation — grouping customers by recency, frequency and monetary value — is available from the Growth plan upward, and is the feature most directly aimed at retention for an established store.
There is a drag-and-drop email builder, a template library, dynamic content, product recommendations, dynamic coupons and HTML email support. Email white-labelling is available, and the platform includes built-in email validation and delivery (SMTP), so you are not separately configuring a sending service.
Email sending is unlimited on every plan, and the number of stored contacts is unlimited too — subject to a stated fair-usage policy, and to the marketing audience limit explained below, which is the metric you actually pay for.
Popups, forms and on-site personalisation
Drag-and-drop popup and form builders, exit-intent triggers, custom fields, templates and third-party form integration. On the personalisation side there is conditional page content, a visual webpage personaliser, custom page redirects, dynamic product lists and personalised blog lists. The number of web personalisations is unlimited on all plans.
AI features
ConvertAI provides a writing assistant for email subject lines and body copy, limited on the Starter plan and unlimited from Growth upward. Growth and above also include AI "Smart Insights and Suggestions," which surface recommendations for improving campaigns.
We have not independently tested output quality, so treat the AI features as a convenience rather than a reason to choose the platform.
Analytics
Reporting covers automation performance, conversion rates, website visit tracking, revenue reports, and e-commerce event tracking, with advanced e-commerce reports included across plans.
Integrations
Built-in integrations include Facebook, Google Ads, Google Search Console and HubSpot, plus webhooks, an API and custom event tracking for anything not covered natively. Integrations, webhooks and custom events require the Growth plan or higher — worth noting, because that is a meaningful jump from Starter. Convert is also listed in the HubSpot app marketplace.
ConvesioConvert pricing
Pricing from the ConvesioConvert pricing page at the time of writing. All plans include a 14-day free trial with no feature restrictions.
| Plan | Price | Marketing audience | Automations | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49/month | Up to 2,500 | 20 | 1 |
| Growth | $199/month | Up to 10,000 | 50 | 5 |
| Pro | $399/month | Up to 25,000 | Unlimited | 10 |
| Elite | $999+/month | Up to 100,000 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Understand the billing metric before anything else. You are not charged per contact — contacts and email sends are unlimited. You are charged on marketing audience, which the vendor defines as the number of unique individuals who are actually served an automation in a given month, counting both known contacts and guest visitors, and resetting monthly.
The vendor's own example: if you have 20,000 registered contacts and you send an automated email to a 2,000-person VIP segment, your marketing audience is 2,000, not 20,000. That is genuinely favourable if you run tightly targeted campaigns to a small slice of a large list.
The risk sits in the opposite case. Because guest visitors count, a site-wide popup or a broad personalisation rule targets everybody who lands on your site — so a traffic spike can consume your allowance quickly. And if you exceed the quota, the vendor states that upgrades happen automatically, with a prorated charge for the remainder of the period and full price from the following month. Downgrading requires contacting support. On the $49 Starter plan, a 2,500-audience ceiling combined with automatic upgrades to a $199 plan is a real budgeting consideration, not a footnote. Scope your popup and personalisation rules narrowly from day one.
You can cancel at any time. Convesio also runs an agency partner programme with revenue sharing, which will interest agencies more than individual store owners.
How it compares
Convesio positions Convert as a consolidation play — one subscription replacing an email platform, a customer data platform, a popup tool and a form builder — and markets it explicitly as a Klaviyo alternative. On its own comparison page it prices a Growth plan at $199/month against a stack it values at considerably more.
That argument holds up only if you would genuinely have bought all of those tools. If you already run WooCommerce with a competent email plugin and a popup plugin such as the ones covered in our list building plugins roundup, the honest comparison is $49–$199/month against a couple of annual licences — and the case for Convert then rests on unified segmentation and personalisation, not on cost savings.
We have not benchmarked deliverability, performance or campaign results, and we are not reproducing the percentage uplift figures on the vendor's marketing pages, because those are presented as animated counters without cited sources. Treat any conversion-lift claim as marketing until you have run the trial against your own traffic.
Our verdict
ConvesioConvert is a more ambitious product than Growmatik appeared to be, and considerably more expensive. The combination of unlimited contacts, unlimited email sending and behaviour-driven personalisation across email, popups and on-site content from one dashboard is a genuinely useful package for a WooCommerce store with real traffic and real segments.
It suits you if you run an established WooCommerce store, you already pay for several marketing tools and want them consolidated, you need RFM segmentation and on-site personalisation rather than just a newsletter, and a $199/month line item is proportionate to your revenue.
Look elsewhere if you are a small site or blog — the Starter plan's 2,500 marketing-audience limit plus automatic upgrades makes this an awkward fit for low-budget projects, and a popup plugin with an email integration will cost a fraction of it. Also think twice if self-hosting matters to you: this is a SaaS platform with a connector plugin distributed outside WordPress.org, so your data and sending live with the vendor.
Use the 14-day trial, and while you are in it, watch the marketing-audience counter as closely as the feature list.
Frequently asked questions
Is Growmatik still available?
Not under that name. Growmatik has been rebranded as ConvesioConvert and folded into Convesio's platform. The domain growmatik.ai now returns a permanent (301) redirect to convesio.com/convert/, and the plugin is no longer listed in the WordPress.org repository.
Is ConvesioConvert available on WordPress.org?
No. There is no longer a Growmatik plugin in the WordPress.org directory, so you cannot install it from Plugins → Add New or receive updates through the repository. ConvesioConvert lists a WordPress plugin as a feature of every plan, distributed by the vendor — it is a SaaS platform with a connector plugin rather than a self-hosted tool.
How much does ConvesioConvert cost?
Four monthly plans at the time of writing: Starter $49 (up to 2,500 marketing audience, 20 automations, 1 user), Growth $199 (10,000, 50 automations, 5 users), Pro $399 (25,000, unlimited automations, 10 users) and Elite $999+ (100,000, unlimited users). All include a 14-day free trial with no feature restrictions. That is a significant increase on Growmatik's old $12/month entry tier.
What is a "marketing audience" and why does it matter?
It is the metric you are billed on. The vendor defines it as the number of unique individuals actually served an automation in a month — counting both known contacts and guest visitors — resetting monthly. Contacts and email sends are unlimited, so a tightly targeted campaign to 2,000 people out of a 20,000-contact list counts as 2,000. The catch is that guest visitors count too, so a site-wide popup can consume the allowance fast, and exceeding the quota triggers an automatic upgrade with a prorated charge.
Do I need Convesio hosting to use ConvesioConvert?
The pricing page presents Convert as a standalone subscription that connects to your existing WordPress or WooCommerce site — "once you connect your website to Convert, you're good to go" — and does not state a hosting requirement. We have not confirmed with the vendor whether any plan or promotional bundle requires Convesio hosting, so check that directly if it affects your decision.
Is ConvesioConvert a good Klaviyo alternative?
Convesio markets it as one, and the consolidation argument is reasonable if you would otherwise buy an email platform, a customer data tool, a popup builder and a form plugin separately. If you already run WooCommerce with a competent email plugin and a popup plugin, the real comparison is $49–$199/month against a couple of annual licences, and the case rests on unified segmentation and personalisation rather than cost. We have not benchmarked deliverability or campaign results.
