What WPArena collects, and what we do with it.

This covers wparena.com, the systems that store our published content, and anything you send us through a form or an account.

Use the contact form. An editor reads it and replies within two working days.

Who we are

An independent WordPress publication

Questions go to the contact page or admin at wparena.com. We do not sell a standalone marketing list of readers.

Data

Information we collect

Server logs

Our servers may record IP address, browser type, date, and the URL requested, in order to operate and secure the site.

Forms you submit

Contact, advertising, and deal forms keep the fields you send — name, email, website, and message — so an editor can reply and keep a record of the exchange.

Accounts

If you sign in, we store what is needed to authenticate and save preferences such as a reading list.

Comments

When comments are open we store the comment, the name and email you provide, and technical data used to prevent spam.

Cookies

Browser storage, not a second product

Cookies may keep a session signed in, remember dark mode, measure aggregated traffic, or deliver advertising from partners. You can block or delete cookies in the browser. Some features then stop working. Third parties that load scripts may set their own cookies; WPArena does not control those. Google publishes its advertising policy separately.

Sharing

Hosting, email, payment, analytics, and advertising vendors process data on our behalf or when you click through. Seasonal deal payments go through the payment provider, so WPArena never sees or stores your card number. We share data when the law requires it.

Retention and requests

Logs stay only as long as security needs them. Form and account data stay until you ask us to remove them or we no longer need them, subject to legal holds. Ask through the contact page. The site is written for adults who run WordPress sites.
