WordPress Plugin: A WordPress Plugin is a program, or a set of one or more functions, written in the PHP scripting language, that adds a specific set of features or services to the WordPress weblog, which can be seamlessly integrated with the weblog using access points and methods provided by the WordPress Plugin Application Program Interface (API).
There are tons of WordPress plugins out there. Some of them can be really helpful, while others are just a waste of disk space. Let’s take a look at 32 really useful WordPress plugins and why you should use them.

Very nice list. Actually WP-Spamfree is much less server intensive than Akismet. Wp-ecommerce however is not something I would stand behind. Terrible support and lots of bugs. Shame it’s one of only a couple ecommerce plugins out there.

P.S. your RSS feed don’t work with feedburner, check please, want to subscribe.

Akismet is one such plugin without which I can’t even think of writing a single post.. Else every day I will be spending most of the time on cleaning my blog from spam bots

Good list, it will be great if the commentators add their fav plugins too
Broken link checker and google analytics make me feel good!

Nice post and certainly warrants review. I was not familiar with all 30, so I clicked on a few that might interest me. Please check that Ultimate Tag Warrior 3 is not out-of-date.
There are few others that I really like:
Hana Code Insert: Allows you to drop HTML and JS code in the middle of your article. Useful for AdSense and Paypal donation code.
Ultimate Plugins Smart Update Pinger: Corrects WordPress built-in ping functionality following updates on posts. Only new posts are pinged. Protects you from ping-spamming.
